REET Mock Test Series
In Rajasthan, the REET examination is conducted by the nodal agency Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education Ajmer (RBSE) and the list of successful candidates is published and they are given certificates. This certificate is valid for 3 years.

Qualification
The posts of Rajasthan third grade teachers have been divided into two categories – Level-1 and Level-2.
Primary teachers of classes 1 to 5 have been placed under Level First and upper primary teachers of classes 6 to 8 have been placed under Level-2.
There are different qualifications for these posts and third class teachers are selected according to the qualification and subject.
Earlier, separate examination was conducted by Rajasthan Public Service Commission or Zilla Parishad for the recruitment of third class teachers, but at present the recruitment process is completed on the basis of RTET and REET EXAM.
RTET-Rajasthan Teachers Eligibility Test
Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test both RTET and REET are same. REET is now held in place of Artet.
Eligibility for REET Exam
The main qualification for the REET exam is the candidate should have obtained any teacher training degree like BSTC d.el.ed, B.ed etc.
This examination is conducted to select qualified candidates for Rajasthan Third Class Teacher Recruitment. According to the primary and upper primary classes of Rajasthan, primary education and secondary education have been divided.
Teachers studying in primary classes from class 1 to 5 have been named Level-1 and teachers teaching upper primary classes have been named level-2.
According to these posts, the eligibility has been fixed for the candidates appearing in the REET. Which are as follows-
Educational Qualification for REET Exam
Qualification for Primary Class Teacher Level-1
- 50% marks in senior secondary and two year diploma in elementary education (BSTC / d.el.ed)
- 45% marks in senior secondary and 2 year diploma in elementary education as per NCTE 2002 rules
- Higher Secondary and 4 Year Diploma in Education Sciences (B.El.Ed) with 50% marks.
- 2 Year Diploma in Higher Secondary and Special Education with 50% marks.
- 2 Year Diploma in Graduate and Elementary Education.
The qualifications mentioned above are for L-1 teachers. Candidate should have higher secondary or equivalent qualification, similarly two year diploma in elementary education or its equivalent qualification. Candidates appearing for the final year examination are also eligible to apply.
A diploma or degree qualification in special education will be valid only for special education teacher posts, ie, those who receive diploma in special education will not be eligible for general posts.
Upper Primary Teacher Level-2 Eligibility
- 2 Year Diploma in Graduate and Elementary Education (BSTC / d.el.ed etc.)
- Graduate with 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or 2-year Bachelor of Education
- 45% marks in graduation and one year B.Ed. or two-year B.Ed.
- Higher Secondary and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education with minimum 50% marks (B.El.Ed.)
- Higher Secondary and 4-year Bachelor Ed with 50% marks. BA Ed or BSc Ed.
- Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed in one year special education.
The candidate must have one of the qualifications mentioned above.
According to Rajasthan Government order dated 04.04.2011, SC, ST, OBC, special qualified, widow and abandoned women have been exempted by 5% marks in senior secondary and graduation.
REET Exam Pattern
According to REET EXAM New Patron, the question paper will be divided into five sections in this way. The question paper will be of 150 marks and the time will be 2.30 hours.

The first three sections will be compulsory for all candidates of REET. The fourth and fifth sections contain questions of the subject.
REET exam qualification
The candidate, who attains the percentage marks set by the government in the REET examination, will be issued a certificate of passing the REET examination and it will be valid for 3 years.
Only those candidates who pass the REET examination will be eligible for the posts of 3rd Grade Teacher. Third grade teachers are selected on the basis of highest score from the successful candidates in REET.
It is mandatory for the candidates to get 60 percent marks for qualifying the REET exam. Scheduled Tribe candidates of Scheduled Area will have to obtain minimum pass percentage of 36 percent.
Some other sections may also be exempted from the Minimum Passing Marks in the REET Exam 2020.
